Thanksgiving was easy

Tomorrow will be 2 months!!! Yipppeeee

Yesterday was a breeze, no one smoked and therefore I never thought about it beyond talking with my husband's cousin (who is an internist) about Chantix. He said he hasn't had any more success prescribing Chantix than Zyban - yeah sure, give me a break!!

How did everyone else do yesterday?
I thought about each and everyone of you and gave thanks for such a tremendous community of virtual strangers that I look to for support each and everyday.

May the coming season and the upcoming year give you more peace, happiness, love, security than you ever dreamed imaginable.

MamaFlo, I'm thrilled to hear that yesterday went by so easily for you! My past couple days have had a few tougher moments, but nothing I can't handle.

I'm really surprised to hear about your husband's cousin on the Chantix vs. Zyban thing.

And, hey, congrats on almost 2 months!!

MamaFlo - I am so happy that you had a great Thanksgiving, and you certainly had something to be thankful for - congratulations on two months!!! I had a very easy Thanksgiving, too - in part because I went to dinner at my friend Lynne's - everybody there was a non-smoker. I did not have any cravings - it was surprising, because I thought after eating like a pig I'd want to go outside and smoke, but I didn't. I have been completely smoke-free for 7 weeks and Chantix-free for 12 days. It's still a struggle, though - I occasionally have pretty strong cravings, but I'm not going to give in. Wishing you a great start to the holiday season!!!! Thanks for being an inspiration!

My Thanksgiving went fairly well too. With all of the company that I had, there were only two smokers in the bunch. Them going out to smoke every now and then didn't make me want to any more than usual.

Congrats on almost 2 months MamaFlo!

We are sooo much alike. I still want one quite often too. :( darnit!

Keep up the great work!

Hey MamaFlo!

Just wanted to let you know I'm thinking about you and hope you're doing well.

I haven't posted in a while due to my school schedule, but I'm planning to write an update soon.

The good news? I'm still smoke free. The bad news? I still get urges!

Hope all is well with your quit. If I can help in any way, let me know!
