Back from our trip

I can't believe it's been since Thanksgiving since I posted - shame on me!!
Got back tonight from our cruise, it was wonderful but I wanted a cigarette the entire time we were on the ship. I guess I won't be ready for a sister's trip to Vegas in May, I just don't trust that I won't light up. Do you have any idea how many times I thought about bumming a cigarette only to have a few drags (at least that was going to be my intention) but I didn't bum a smoke and I didn't buy one and I didn't smoke one.
I'm still taking a single Chantix daily (in the morning) but I'm thinking that I may need to try something different as I'm sure wanting to smoke.
It's been 75 days which I'm proud of but I think about this way too much.

Tomorrow I will go on and read about how wonderful and successful everyone's quit is coming along and I'll be jealous and wishing it was that easy for me.
I'm so proud of each and every one of you quitters!!!!

Welcome back! Glad you had fun and didn't smoke. I'm with you on the Vegas thing - as of right now, I'm not sure I'll be ready for our annual trip to Reno in February. We'll see how I feel as it gets closer. I *do* think that a year from now I should finally be in better shape. It's a process, MamaFlo, and we smoked a long time. The idea that we still aren't smoking even if we'd sometimes love to is a huge thing, in my way of thinking anyway. So glad you are back - was missing you!

Welcome back Momma Flo.....I canrelate to wanting to smoke (especially today)but I want to be non-smoker more than I want to be a smoker. Vacations are hard....at least for me. I feel like I get to realax and do stupid stuff that I like to do like smoke cigarettes and drink alcohol. Ihe idea of it sounds good but I have not taken a drink in over 20 years so why statt now? Its kind of the same with cigarettes. Keep up the quitting and I AM glad that you had a great time on your trip.
Peace,
Diva

So glad you had a great time on your cruise, and congratulations on staying smoke-free. I have been on 2 cruises and I'm ready to do another one! I think it's the perfect vacation. I am sure it was tough to see all those smokers on the "smoking side" of the ship - but, guess what? You did it! You made it through the cruise without smoking. That's a big accomplishment, and you should be proud! Welcome back and stay quit!

Welcome back and congratulations on a smoke free cruise! When I went on my cruise, it seemed as though I was the only one who smoked and it was a hassle. Finding a place to smoke was a challenge for me every time I lit up except for on our balcony. Must be different on different cruises.

I understand about the urges because I certainly still have them constantly. I still want to smoke, but I don't want to smoke more. :)

Hang in there with us, you're doing fantastic!
