I could have never imagined this topic could be so enormous or for that matter so confusing to a novice.
I'm demoing a few feed and readers (remember, I use Macs). This particular post is being written on Firefox's ScribeFire and it's fine except that I would need to be online to use it and that will not always be possible. I would like a desktop blog editor but there are issues with most of them (Qumana, MarsEdit, ecto, Blogo), maybe I just need to learn more before I make a decision. The reader that for now feels right as a reader is NetNewsWire.
I need to learn about tags, and links, Digg, Twitter, etc - this is a good early retirement learning project (cause I'll no doubt be headed for an assisted living center by the time I learn it all). The husband and I have only just begun traveling and then there are the grandchildren on the way (right now it's just a grandson who will be arriving within the next 4 weeks but we are hopeful for more), there is oh so much to blog about.
I am willing and able to learn more about blogging and the "extras". Anyone wanting to point me in a direction or give me direct advice will be appreciated.
