The First Spring Cleaning has begun

Today it's almost 90 degrees outside (yeah it's way to warm for still being February even if it is South Texas) so we could not resist starting to clean up the patio and garden. The Live Oak Trees will shed their leaves still in another month probably but our lawn man will be handling that mess - Yipppeee!!!!
As you can see by this photo, the shadows of winter are getting long so that means we're turning a corner and spring is creeping in.
We have one more "Hot" day here tomorrow and then we return to more seasonable temperatures (in the mid to upper 60's) but I think this warm up is a prelude to merciless summer.
Stay tuned as we continue cleaning up the yard and garden, and readying the pool for the summer ahead.
2008 will be my fist summer without smoking and I have to admit that I got some tuggings (there I go with a Maggie word - smiles) but they quickly left. It's again those habits of working like hell and then wanting to sit down and relax with a cigarette. Well, those days are over and the only thing smoking on this property for now on will be the ocassional guest or my BBQ Grill.

Ok, Mama...you have gone so crazy blogging I don't even know if I am at the right sight when I log on! I does look cool though. Spring cleaning or any cleaning for that matter does make me think about smoking. I guess that means I should hire a maid right? LOL Hope all is well with you and your project.
Peace,
Diva

Ah, yes, I understand those familiar situations and the thought of smoking just because it used to be there as part of the picture. No wonder quitting is so tough, but how awesome we're through the hardest part.
