Like a cat on a hot tin roof (him not me)

It's been more than a week since I left Chantix behind, because my tapering off was so slow and deliberate I really haven't felt any changes - thank heavens!!!

Ahhh, those light tuggings (that will forever be "your" word Maggie) come along every once in awhile but they don't stay around long and I'm getting pretty good at distracting myself long enough for them to stop.
I'm going to pack myself a little survival bag tonight for the long day at the hospital tomorrow - ipod, book, magazine, notebook, pen, headset, cell phone, and oh yes - Money.
Today's topic is about my honey's state of mind which has been better.  I'm sure he will be fine but he's nervous (can't say I blame him).
To each of you - stay Quit, it's worth it!
Thanks for being my friends!!!!

Good stuff, MamaFlo. I am still thrilled for you coming through the other side of Chantix and sounding so strong. My thoughts are with you and your husband, too.

That is a great idea of packing up distractions when dealing with a stressful situation! I will put that in my "Quitting Toolkit!" I am glad to hear that there is no major difference post Chantix. I will be on it for a bit longer and then I will do what you did and taper off. That sounds like the best way to go especially with the new reports. Good luck with your hubby. Post and let us know whats up.
Peace,
Diva
