Every spring we head to the Lake of the Ozarks to Crappie Fish, mostly at small fishing outposts where it's friendly and the crappie are plentiful.
These are photos of one afternoon of fishing (me, my sister, and two brothers).

We caught more than our legal limit (shhhhh, don't tell anyone) and cleaned them as fast as we could. Nothing fries up like Crappie! If you think it's not spring, what does 80 degrees say to you (other than summer is definitely on it's way to south texas)?

It was chilly here yesterday morning...foggy real early in the day, but by noon it was burned off, and it turned out to be one super day!!! [Altho we were standing in line to see Senator Obama instead of fishing....like the bumper sticker says..."I'd rather be fishing" -than standing in line. LOL]
I just sent you an email, the subject line is "Blog Help [linking images]" and if you don't see it in your inbox, check you spam folder. Yahoo emails tend to end up in the 'junk'.
I would dearly love to have had some of the fried fish. Sounds so very good right now.
Have a terrific Weekend. And 'mum's the word' on the catch over the limit. I won't tell a soul.
You need to make another trip for this Debbie, we really did have a good time. Since I won't live at the lake anymore I'm sure I'll still have to do my part in helping control the fish population, so I would love for you to come help, since we are the SHAKA QUEENS!!!!!
