We came to Houston to see our son and his wife along with attending a baby shower given by my DIL's closest college girlfriends. The shower was at the Junior League of Houston and was very nice, below were the luncheon selections:
Last night this was my son and his animal crew, sound asleep.
I didn't think about wanting a cigarette today but I sure thought about wanting to smoke on our drive in yesterday - traffic was horrible, it was opening night for the rodeo and in addition to it being the last day of the month, payday for most everyone, a Friday, it was also Leap Year Day. IH-10 was more like a parking lot than freeway in one of the largest cities in the country.

Yummy looking lunchies, and ya gotta love all those dogs!
Those doggies sure are a handful though as they occasionally vie for position in the animal world and they squabble. They are sweet big creatures though. And then when I bring my poodle into the mix it's interesting.
We're all animal lovers.
