Our New Addition

Well after a long day with the induction not doing diddly, they decided to do a C-Section.
Our baby Grand Son Rudy was born today at 5:27pm CST weighing in at 12lbs 12.2oz and 19.5 inches long (we aren't tall people). He's precious (see for yourself) and naked and only about 15 minutes old

I cried like a silly old woman and now I'm crying because I look like my mother (waaaaaaaaa).

Baby Rudy seems to have a wonderful disposition, very calm and peaceful (I'm not sure where this came from but I'm thrilled). To hold that new little soul in my arms was pure heaven!!
Well folks it's really late (12:30am) and I need some sleep cause we are driving back home tomorrow after another visit at the hospital.

Mommy is doing very well too - amazing what they do with C-Sections today vs 30 years ago when both of my children were born by C's.
