I booked a 10 night cruise for this fall on Celebrity's Constellation with the following itinerary:
Fort Lauderdale
At Sea
At Sea
St Thomas
St Kitts
Barbados
St Lucia
St Maarten
At Sea

Fort Lauderdale
The cabin is an Aft Concierge Class (photos of the cabin and balcony are posted in an earlier post from our Hawaii cruise).
I've recently come upon a good price for a 15 night Panama Canal on Holland America's Westerdam with the following itinerary:
San Diego
At Sea
Cabo San Lucas
At Sea
Acapulco
Huatulco
Puerto Chiapas, Mexico
Puerto Quetzal, Guatamala
At Sea
Puntarenas Costa Rica
At Sea
Full Transit of the Panama Canal
Catagena, Colombia
At Sea
At Sea
Fort Lauderdale
The cabin category is a Deluxe Verandah Suite (I've posted photos of this cabin category from our cruise to the Mexican Riviera).
Both of these cruises are very appealing to my husband and I and I've been doing my best trying to dissect every nook and cranny hoping to make a decision before the end of this weekend.
Of course we cannot do both of these cruises so one has to go.....
Do you have any suggestions/opinions? I'd like to hear (really I would).

I would select the second trip. I have two reasons: I have always wanted to go through the Panama canal and the cruise is longer. They both sound like fun!
I'm with Beeker and cast my vote for the second trip as I would love to go through the Panama Canal plus you have more time and the best vacation is always the longer vacation! Just one question, can I hide in your luggage??
Definitely the second one!
how soon are you guys planning on going?
I think I would want the second trip becasue I have always wanted to go to Costa Rica to see the rainforest and I bet they have some great off shore adventures for that location. I wannna go!
Peace,
Diva
I'm still trying to firm up the Panama Canal Cruise. I've got a hold on a booking as I was trying to find the most comprehensive insurance coverage. Now I'm seeing the "deal" I was hoping for is closed and my hold will hopefully work.
Second trip gets my vote! I still my 3rd grade project on Costa Rica, and reading about how nice the weather is, definitely makes it worth it.
Thanks for the link love.
Sorry, I submitted to fast

You're welcome Ada, glad to do it.
Wow, both sound very nice, and I'd gladly fold up small and go in your suitcase wherever you go. That said, the second one is longer, so that might be a thing.
I would have to choose the Panama Canal. That is a once in a lifetime (at least for most people) chance and I've heard it's just amazing.
