Actually, I was inspired to blog about this topic due to a guest blogger on Postcards from the Funny Farm .
INSPIRATION - one definition I found was "arousal of the mind to special unusual activity or creativity"
For me personally, INSPIRATION comes from the ordinary, the things, people, landscapes that most often we take for granted. When I slow down and look around, the beauty of life awes me and inspiration is everywhere, in everything.
Small children INSPIRE me, they look at the world and see only possibility, and hope, they believe.
Kindness INSPIRES me when something as simple as a thank you lights up someone's face.

Very well said. When I am down I simply walk outside. I live out in the country side in Oklahoma.
And we have ducks and geese. We keep all kind of feeders out for various birds and we have so many that come and stay here now.

Tell you what after reading the comment you left on my blog, I'd have to say today that you inspired me. Anyone that can make it through 2 stages of menopause in their lifetime deserves admiration.
Nice post, MamaFlo. I'm randomly inspired by all kinds of things, but mostly I'd say I'm inspired by beauty - whether in nature, in simple objects or in people. That's pretty vague, but it's true, and it leaves so much room to be inspired.
