Yesterday I experienced problems online

For some unknown reason, my husband and I experienced problems viewing my (and periodically other) blog from our iMacs. That's odd because there was no problem whatsoever viewing it on my MacBook. Now, the only thing out of the ordinary that happened yesterday was a power outage of about 6 minutes (which would not have affected my laptop since it was running on battery power).
This morning after hours of frustration last night, the issue appears to have resolved itself - thank goodness.
I find it so bizarre at how important a computer is to my everyday life!!
Oh, in case you are wondering, my husband is one of those blog lurkers....he looks at the comments made on my blog and goes to your blog to read about you......oh well, makes him happy and gives him something to do besides pester me.

I think I know what happened, and it was the reason I moved my "Recent Comments" widgets to where it would load last. It was not loading properly and was holding up the works on anything loading after it. On your page, the header and some other parts would load, but it would hang there. Today it looks like the Recent Comments thing still isn't working, but at least it's not affecting page load. This is just my guess. And not that I'm stalking your blog by visiting so often :) Hi Roland!

Funny that you mention that Maggie but I dismissed it because my MacBook was loading up the Recent Comments just fine without a hitch. I scoured the internet and the Apple sites last night wondering what this could be and finally gave up and went to bed, frustrated and wanting a cigarette - yeah that's still the biggest trigger in my life - FRUSTRATION.

Damn blogs :) It is kind of spooky mysterious that it loaded OK in the MacBook. I tried on 3 different computers with no luck. Glad all is right with the world today and that another cigarette moment has been averted. I'm still like that, too. We both smoked forever, so I suppose it's too soon to expect those thoughts to leave forever, but if/when that day comes, I sure won't mind a bit.

I was wondering what happened to your page Mama! Hi there MamaFlo's hubby if you are out there! I never really thought that there were that many people out there who lurked on these blogs but people have found me via the internet and I don't really know how.
Peace,
Diva
