He's become so bright that he needs shades- hhhaaaaha
It's been a month since we've seen him and this weekend we're going to be in Houston as our son graduates from his residency program and becomes a full fledged Anesthesiologist (4 year of college, 4 years of medical school, 4 years of intern/residency).
Here's another photo without the shades (for anyone that doesn't know, Rudy is my Grandson) and his Mommy (my DIL).

Congrats to your son, too! Will he finally be done, or is there four more years of something else? I admire smart kids with the patience to keep after something that long; clearly I am not one of those :)

CONGRATUALTIONS! to your son on such a wonderful achievement. I think none of us realise the length of time and dedication people put in to achieve their goals and dreams. Awwww he is a doll.......my oldest graduated high school this yr and I told him he only had a couple of wks to get married and give me a grandbaby.......didn't go over well...LOL so keep pics coming so I can awwwww over your grandson...;D

My Son "claims" that residency was absolute hell. The experience has changed my sweet, kind, loving son into a man that barely has those attributes any longer. Working 90+ hours a week for 4 years does horrible things to a person.
I hope that when he gets into practice and a normal life that the core man he is will reappear.
