Morale Booster Needed for a Fellow Quitter

I was just reading a post from a recent Quitter, Buffy who is having the early "I'm a bitch, stay away from me" part of the withdrawal from smoking. This is the worst time and it helps to get plenty of encouragement so if you have a moment, please stop by her blog and post a morale booster for her.
I could never have made it these almost 262 days (shy by a few hours) had it not been for the support of fellow quitters and bloggers like Maggie, Lynda, or Diva. There were others but they stopped blogging or started smoking again but this group of women have stayed the course and we continue to blog with each other every day.

If you are a quitter or are thinking about quitting, go by and visit these blogs.

I'm not going to be one of those ex-smokers who can do nothing but put smokers down.......I know how much I loved smoking, I know how hard it was to quit but the bottom line is that after 36 years of smoking 1+ packs a day, I was able to quit with the help of the drug Chantix and the help and encouragement of my PCP.

Oooh!! Good luck with this, and good for you that you have the right attitude toward smokers already!

I smoked from the age of 13 to 19 and only quit because I was pregnant.

Now he is 17 and sometimes I wonder which one was actually worse for my overall health haha! :p

Yay for letting us know! I ran over and blathered on with a long hello like I do :) I agree 110% about not putting down smokers. Those asshats (can I say that on here?) annoyed the piss out of me, and they still do. Even if I was ready when I was doesn't mean the guy standing outside smoking is ready yet - you know how I am about people on their own paths, and we both understand that it doesn't really accomplish anything anyway.

Wow, 262 days? Time flies! Yay, you!

Thank you! You have been my most encouraging mentor and newest friend.

I'm only approximately 243 smoke free days behind you...lol

You're the best!!
