What Advice Can You Give To Others?

Something similar was posted on Geek Mom Mashup and I thought it would be a great idea to do something similar.

I'll start this out with 3 examples of Good/Prudent Advice I've given or been given:

You'll learn more about life with your mouth shut
Do unto others as you would have them do unto you
Always take the high road

What piece of advice can you share?

Never lose faith. There is a reason for everything and nothing is done in vain.

*You were given 1 mouth and 2 ears so listen twice as much as you talk.
*Give yourself completely into what you do...live life with abandonment.
*There are no regrets, only lessons.

Just have to congratulate you on your quitting cigarettes...It's so great! I've been quite for 3+ years and I facilitate a support group at a local hospital where I live. Keep up the good work! :D

I am about to stop smoking...been psyching myself for about 2 months now.

my bit of advice...always be kind to strangers - "you never know when you are entertaining angels unawares." - Hebrews 13:1-2

....and if you like the "pink little owl"...you are welcome to muse at midnight...it says Monday's...but I am going to change it to any night...

if you're up late...stop on by!

Think before you speak -- don't ever say anything when angry -- give yourself a moment to relax and cool down beforehand.

I'm a firm believer in the Golden Rule.

I also like a one my Mom used to tell me all the time: You've got to know the system and make it work for you.

Together, we've got a shit load of wisdom!!!
Seriously, I love hearing what makes other people tick, the small things happening in their heads and hearts that make them who they are and what they give to others.

Thank you for taking the time to share with me and everyone else the wisdom of your years.

Be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath. James. 1:17

Keep you mind focused on the good things, not the problems.

Pray without ceasing.

This is more of a mantra I read to myself everyday; I have it printed out and posted on the wall within eye range;

Today I am relaxed
Today I am grateful
Today I work hard (meditative/spiritual practice)
Today I am kind to others.
