Ah, Lake Tahoe - one of my very favorite places ever! Wish I was there looking at the view and having a fajita or two!

Great job on this!

Hey there Mama Flo,
I cannot believe you were an army medic! Did you ever work during combat time? Anyway, I bet you have some stories you could tell. I need a bit of help. I am looking to buy a new computer and have been using a PC for awhile now but learned graphic design stuff on a Mac. I am close to buying a MacBook (black laptop) and need someone who is a Mac fan to tell me some reasons to spend the extra money. I know you are a fan. I know I will have more creative options in the long run but in the short run I am feeling the pinch. Let me know what you think.
Peace,
Diva

Diva, I think Macs are much less cumbersome to work on and they allow you to be more creative with photos, music and such but yes they are considerably more expensive. We have 3 Macs in the house, an older MacBook (older meaning less than 2 years), an older iMac and a new iMac. My grown children are also Mac users - my daughter uses a newer Macbook and my son and his wife have iMacs and he'd like to get himself a MacBook Pro.
I'd love a MacBook Pro but............
Hey, did you look online at the Apple store for refurbs? Many times they have excellent prices.

I couldn't go back to a Windows based computer, laptop or desktop but that's just me.
Why exactly do you want to change?

You put as job wife and mother. I think both of these are full time and hard jobs. 360 degree jobs. 24 hour jobs. And, often, we the husbands and the children do not appreciate this in the right value. We have to improve.

We all need to spend more time not taking the people in our lives for granted. It wasn't until about 2 years ago that I realized how difficult and stressful it must have been on my husband working to support me and the children. I look at his situation and think, OMG I could never carry that responsibility. I'd take the wife mother job over the husband Daddy job any day.

What is it about grilled sandwiches that makes them so darn yummy? I saw that and am instantly craving one. Probably the yummy and buttery grilled-ness. Fun lists. :)

Oh Sweetie thanks for the Tag!
I grew up very close to Lake Tahoe a place called Pollock Pines on Highway 50. I loved it there.

I love all your facts. Off to write my tags

I was just cruising through Callie's Scrapin' Through Life and since I've always gotten a kick out of the "Mad Bluebird" picture I just thought I come by and say "hello."
Great blog, btw.

I will confess that Swingtown is one of my guilty pleasures. My DVR did not record 75% of last weeks episode so now I am going batty.

Where is Sierra Vista in relation to Tucson? I lived in Tucson for five years. If you are reading this, it means the commenting is working.

You just made my day! In my time of blogging, which isn't long but still, this is the first time I've been tagged with a Meme! Thank you so much for thinking of me...I feel uber special right now. *smile*

Oh, and we definitely have "Brothers & Sisters" in common...I adore that show. How can you not with the great cast (Sally Fields is WONDERFUL as Nora!)?
