What Body Parts Get Your Attention?

I was reading a post at Monkey Fables And Tales about him being so entranced by a woman's boobs that he gave some money for a charity. Yeah-yeah, I know they look but they don't touch.....OMG guys, is that all it takes to get your attention? Have women been slaving away in kitchens and cleaning and ironing and having babies all these years when all it took was having big tits, or a shapely ass, or long slender legs??? Really?????
This made me think about whether I do this with men, do I look at the package between their legs, do I look at their chests, do I look at their legs, their ass?
I can tell you that I DO NOT and of course because I don't look, I cannot be swayed (well maybe if he was hung like a horse and walking around making a public display of this "thing").
What matters to me is whats between their ears, can he make me laugh, can he make me think longer and deeper about a subject than I'd thought before. AND whats in his chest, that thing they call a heart, how big is it, how true is it, how deep does it run.

very well said! I don't think all men are that way, just as all women don't feel like we do. And there's plenty of women who make choices over and over again because they're swayed by a pretty face and a big chest or whatever attracts them. They don't think beyond. Give me a man who makes me laugh and who will be there for me when things aren't going well. That's sexy to me.

okay i do look below the belt first. i look at eyes and smiles. i check for belts too. arms...whatever muscle i can see through clothes...and then i have them read. if they can't read well then all that stuff above goes down the drain. :)

if a man does have a book in his hand, i look at everything.

Oh - don't be so hard on yourself! What would the world be and all those beauties if we would not dare to look any more? Looking does not mean "longing for" - doesn't it? You need to see it from a different perspective: all those surgeries and botox injections would be wasted if no-one would look any more. Are you sure you wanna spoil that? That would drive a whole industry into the red numbers...

I don't want to ruin anything, shit it's hillarious to me, I love watching these bimbos that have balls sitting on their chests strut around like those babies are gold. Jealous, no way, I always had great boobs (albeit before they drooped), always had great legs but had a flat ass and was always afraid to wish for more knowing I'd end up with a Bertha Butt - LOL!!!

I can tell you I rather look at gold fish then a woman's chest...........
.....not all men mama flo :)

Yikes Alan, my apologies, I forgot momentarily about you and Mo - Soooo Sorry!!!
I guess you guys do look at the "package" LOL!!!

I like it all. I like a brain, a heart, strong man, caring, and the eyes I love eyes... Yeah Baby, a nice butt is good.. gotta have a good hammer or they suck in the sac.. we all know that is important also.. just saying

Well, all I can say is that my husband has the most beautiful feet I have ever seen on a man--much nicer than mine. Now there's a man's body part that doesn't receive the attention it deserves.

I can only speak for myself, not the entire male species. Although I do look at breasts, ass, and legs, that's all it is, just looking.

The real attractiveness comes from what's inside a woman's brain and her personality.

Of course, if she's smart, has a great personalioty, and a killer bod, there's nothng wrong with that...lol

Nice post....Unfortunately, you have to get someone's attention first to have a chance at finding out what's between the ears and inside the chest. And that's just evolution speaking. Human beings are wired this way. Who will be stronger, a better provider, build a better home? You can't always judge that by how big the biceps are, but the biceps, or the breasts, get the attention.

Personally, the voice and the sparkle in the eyes get my attention--for both women and men. I've noticed this in my friends. If the voice is warm-sounding, and if the eyes have a playful look, the person is fun to be around. If the voice is harsh or if the eyes are sad or squashed by the weight of the world, that person is not fun to be around. I look for my friends to help lift me up, not to bring me down. And I want to be around women with the same qualities. A beautiful, warm voice and sparkling eyes are the characteristics I think are most important.

What a great comment Matthew. I can tell by the comment that you were probably close to your Mom, that she gave you positive feedback and plenty of love. Men that are more cerebral than physical are a major turn on to most women.

Well said!

But I guess I only think this way since getting "older" lol

I am turned on by a man's brain. I cannot abide men who do not use their intelligence or step past male typical upbringings.
I am very much in love with my man - his package is the best I've ever had :) because he is super intelligent and a lover of environment and pro feminism.

MamaFlo said...

Yeah for you Megan, a good "package" and a brain - sounds like you hit the jackpot!!!

The one body part I look at first is their face. The eyes, their smile, and how they look at me. I just love it! Guys that are nice to look at are great, unless there's nothing in between the ears. Give me a man with intelligence, humor and a great smile... that's what I look at each morning I wake up and every night I go to bed! He's mine all mine! ;)

I am an eye person for some reason and shoes I have to say. Very strange but I always look at eyes and shoes. Of course a sense of humor and kindness are my main things. Men do seem to be much more visual I think. Very funny!

AMEN! Once again, you and I are on the very same page...oh, long lost sister of mine. LOL

Well...in my defense... or something... I'm sure her brains were in her boobs, and hey.... her heart is definitely located near them. ;)

(I jest of course.)

Now to be serious, eyes are the first thing to catch my attention, followed closely by a smile.

I completely agree with you! He's also got to have a smile that makes your heart melt.
