Southwest Airlines Deal to Las Vegas - HURRY, it's a doozy of a deal

Southwest Airlines has a tremendous deal running until midnight tonight (Pacific Standard Time), flights to Las Vegas, January 13 - March 11 are half price, yes you heard that right. You must click on the sale icon on their homepage to get those prices however.
I booked a trip for us earlier this evening using this deal.
There is no better time to travel if you have the time and money to do so.

Where Do You Draw The Line When You Post?

Do you hang out your dirty laundry and talk about your family, your significant other, your career?
Do you hold back in talking about issues dealing with a family member in order to maintain their privacy?
Do you hold yourself back in expressing how passionately you feel about certain topics because it may offend your readers? What kind of topics do you steer clear from discussing?

For me - I don’t hang out my dirty laundry but sometimes I wish I could, there are issues that piss me off so bad that I want to tell the world about them, I could talk about the dysfunctional family I grew up in until I’m blue in the face.

I do my best not to bring my husband or grown children into my blogging and yes there are times when just doing so would keep my blog bustling with posts.

I do hold back in discussing my views, absolutely I do, but I wish I didn’t have to. I have very strong opinions about what is happening in the United States.
I’d love to talk about how I think children are not being parented, how there are too many deadbeats living off the government, how people expect to get something for nothing (or next to nothing), how we spend what we don’t have, how the politicians that we elect get into office and then do something different than what they promised when they were running for election, that crime is out of control and our judicial system doesn’t seem to care.........what bothers you?

What's Happening to the Economy?

Should the government bail out every major failing business in America?
What do you believe is the reason for all this failure in our economy?
Do you think that the world is merely rearranging the order of what's important?

My personal feeling about the economy is that we have relied for much too long on money that wasn't ours, we have taken out loans, used charge cards, and spent, spent, spent without regard to what would happen when it was time to pay. This goes for businesses the same as individual circumstances.
I don't think we can responsibly bail out all these businesses. We can't continue to spend so carelessly and leave the financial mess for future generations. Most businesses have operated with tremendous amounts of fat and that fat has to be trimmed/cut out.
I don't need a big luxury vehicle that gets poor mileage, I need transportation that gives me awesome mileage. It doesn't matter if fuel is $1 a gallon or $5 a gallon, we should have never wasted fuel just because it was cheap and plentiful.

Doesn't it piss you off that the executives of these failing businesses have collected 10's of millions and sometimes hundreds of millions of dollars in bonuses while they ran these businesses and your life savings into the ground?
Does it piss you off that employees of car makers could purchase their vehicles cheaper than you the consumer could purchase them? Did you know that some of the car makers employees made $60-75 an hour and they got discounts you couldn't get?

What's next, what is the next major failure in our economy?

I would love to hear what you have to say about the state of our economy.

Spring Widget Issues

I've noticed that I'm having a problem with the speed of sites with Spring Widgets on them, in particular the Christmas Countdown Widget. It's slow and keeps the other sites from loading smoothly.
Is anyone else having this issue?

I'm not talking about this being an issue on my blog but rather other people's blogs. I know this isn't my computer as I use a workhorse load of RAM.
