Home from Las Vegas

We're back from Las Vegas and first I'd like to apologize for ignoring my EC drops while I was away, I've already started to remedy the delinquency - sorry!!

We stay most often at the Golden Nugget downtown as we like how close all the casinos are to one another, easy to get around the hotel because it isn't gigantic. This time we got a good deal to stay in one of their Gold Club Rooms - don't bother, we weren't impressed. The design diva that was responsible for these updates shouldn't be working in the industry any longer, the rooms are horrible. These are concierge floor rooms, they are large and well appointed if you are in your 20's or 30's.

I was bound and determined on this trip to play only Dollar Slots - guess what, I didn't play even one dollar slot but instead played penny slots and won, won, won!! Probably about 3 hours after arriving in Vegas I won 23,136 pennies (that's $231.36), another two times I won 100,000 pennies ($100) and then there were your penny wins of less in high quantity. I had a ball and came home a winner (as did my dear husband who doesn't even like to gamble but he did on this trip and had a great time).

Weather was fine, on the cool side but for winter in Vegas it was okay. There were plenty of people in town but we continuously heard about the downswing in business everywhere - we didn't see it nor did we experience anything that felt like it.

I'm glad to be home though as the late nights and all the time you spend walking in Vegas is rough.

I've missed you. I've dropped on your sites everyday, but certainly didn't expect you to drop while on vacation. What fun would that be?

Welcome home and enjoy sleeping in your own bed. That's always what I miss the very most. Big hug. :)

Your gains are certainly not the big "jackpot" but at least you did win something. And I am sure you had a lot of fun.

Sorry to hear you were disappointed in the room, but at least you were a winner at the casino!

Sounds like you had fun.

And good on you for the discipline in not smoking for so long.

We can say you have definitely kicked the habit.

I should too....How were you able to after being a smoker for so long?

If I was in Vegas, I would care less about blogging or dropping EC!

By the way, isn't it great to be back home sleeping in your own bed?

Glad you are back. Last time I went to Vegas I played only nickle slots and won over $600.00 and it was even more fun than the quarter slots. I rarely play the dollar slots--lose too much too fast.

I love Penny Slots and won $400.00 my last trip and other smaller wins! In this economy, it is about scaling back! Besdies, its A lot Easier than losing $50 OR A $100 dollars in a hot minute. Any temptation to smoke?
Peace,
Diva

Oh my I am so glad I am back blogging in time to congratulate you on your wins.

It also sounds like you had a great time except of course for your rooms.

I have been seeing adds on t.v. about what great deals are being offered right now in Vegas.

I hope we get through there this coming summer when I am back out on the road.

I have missed you and everyone. It's good to be back.
Hugs,
Jackie:-)
