We drove to Houston this weekend to celebrate Rudy's First Birthday! It's hard to believe he's ONE but this party did him justice. My DIL did a Baseball motif for the party. All four of Rudy's Grandparents came (his other set all the way from New Jersey) along with all his aunts and uncles, his cousin, Godparents, and friends alike - this is one very loved little boy!!!!
Rudy's Mommy baked and decorated a cake just for Rudy to tear into (and he did), oh what a mess and oh how he loved his cake (although he hated that hat).
Rudy even dressed the part of the baseball player.
This was Rudy showing his Nana (me) how big he was.........there is no other love than the love of a grand parent!!!

Awww, he's so cute. Happy Birthday to him. My grandson turns one next week, but I won't get to be in Colorado with him. I just spent 11 days with him in February, though.

Grand kids--the best thing ever invented.
Love the pics. Time goes by so fast. One minute your children are babies and the next their going to school and so on. I savour every moment of my daughter's childhood. You only have it foir a short time.

Hi Deb. Oh, what a precious gift! My littlest grandson turned 2 last week. It's hard to believe! It seems like just last week, I was holding a tiny, swaddled bundle in my arms at the hospital. Rudy is adorable!

O how sweet! I just had my granddaughters first birthday as well. They are really close in age.. Oh I got off my butt and I am entrecarding again.. Who Knew!
he's adorable! He reminds me of my little lady Gabriella. She's 15 months now. I get so jealous seeing babies eating their cakes. She can't have milk. I made her a Wacky Cake for her birthday. (Milk free) She did love it. :)
