We have been cruising for 6 days already (5 more left). We’ve been to Ketchikan, Juneau, and today we were in Skagway. We’ve been fortunate enough to see whales (females and their babies), colonies of sea lions, dolphins, bald eagles, and a brown bear. We have encountered scenery that cannot be explained in words but photos may help (will have to wait until I get home as the internet speed onboard is SLOW). My favorite place so far has been Skagway (population is about 600 year round but nears 900 in the summer during cruise/tourist season). Tomorrow(actually today) we will be in Icy Strait Point/Hoonah, the day after we cruise Hubbard Glacier, then Sitka, and eventually Victoria, BC and then will end in Vancouver BC.

Glad to hear from you. Sounds like Fun, Hubby is so jealous. He won't stop bugging me to book one. And the Florida trip didn't help, seeing all those Cruise Ships,lol. Looking forward to the photos. Safe traveling.
can't wait to see the photos. one of my friends recently had one of his friends up there and got a slew of eagle pictures close up and they were beautiful.
Pardon the pun but it sounds as though you are having a wail of a time. Looking forward to seeing the photos you have taken ... perhaps, if you are lucky, you may be able to snatch a few moments on video and we will all be able to hear the whales as well.

Sounds like your are enjoying your cruise. A couple friends of mine went on an Alaskan cruise and said it was the best vacation they ever had!
I'm so jealous of you! Alaska is the 1st place I will visit when I can travel. Can't wait to see the photos!
