I'd like to tell you a little more about my Entrecard drop experience........I drop 300 EC's daily (except while I'm traveling) and I get between 350-400 dropped on me daily.
I try to comment on 30-50 blogs daily.
I drop first from the list on my blog of those blogs not accepting paid EC ads and then I drop from my inbox, occasionally dropping on a blog who's EC widget looks interesting - I make no deviation from this practice.

I drop entrecards on 100 blogs for each of my 2 blogs. I used to start from my inbox, then click the ads until I hit a dead end. Now with the paid ads the dead ends come too fast. SO I start with my inbox , then do the 20 most popular overall and finish with the art category with however many are needed to get to 100.
I have almost 300 blogs in my favorites and that's the ones I drop on. I check them periodically to see if they are still good droppers on my site. If they aren't I remove them from my favorites. I'm rethinking this practice however. I'm thinking about dropping on just those folks that don't have paid ads. Like you I'm still not sure what Entrecard role is in terms of my blog.

I most work out of my inbox. I sometimes use one of the lists to mix things up a bit.
When I can, I do 300/day for each blog ... sometimes school/life get in the way.
I always start by doing my inbox and favourites for each account... then if I have time I will go back and choose ALL in the toolbar.
I usually get about 200 drops back
Hi there! I normally drop from a list of 250 sites and the last 50 from inbox. But I'm getting ready to rebuild my list for different reasons like some aren't dropping back at all and now the paid ads are on some. Most days I get anywhere from 260-285 drops back on me.

I'm still going strong on the quit. At the end of today will be 23 days no smoking. I don't know what happen to the quit meter. A friend has it on her site too and it quit also. I looked at yours and saw it was still working so I don't know what happen to ours. But I see they are working again now. I even tried to make another one last night and the site was down when I went there.

I tried to drop 300 (i have my own drop list and your blog included) on my main blogs only, and then return all the drops on the other, but I envy you for getting 350+ of drop back, I never reach it yet.
During the school year I manage to drop 300 EC's per day, but now that classes are over, I may be dropping more, if for nothing else than to have lots of EC credits to buy ads and bump my site up the food chain a bit.
I have a 'top droppers' list in my sidebar and usually drop on those blogs first. I try to cover as many blogs that have visited me as possible but it always leaves a shortfall. I always drop at least once on blogs where I place an advert and drop on blogs that have adverts in my run.
What I have noticed much to my dismay - is that sometimes some blogs that I have dropped on do not always change to green in the blogs list and when I then go on them again I find that their widgets have re-set and I have to re-drop on them.
I sometimes comment whilst dropping - sometimes keep certain sites open and comment on several to take a break in dropping - and sometimes comment after dropping but usually I am bushed by the time I get to the end.
I place regular droppers on my site in my favourites as this then makes them pink when I am going through blogs on the main pages and calling up adverts and so on ...
I often open blogs that look interesting but do this through properties - sometimes I am pleasantly surprised to find that they have visited my blog more often than I realised and then I put them into my favourites.
I don't think I could ignore a blog even if they had paid adverts on their widget especially if they visit my blog 25 to 30 times each month. I wouldn't click through their widget or place adverts on their blog - at least not intentionally.
I think that this is now beginning to reflect in blog prices - some blog prices have really began to dramatically fall and if you investigate and go into these they seem to be the ones that are accepting the paid ads. Perhaps the spark will eventually click with these particular blog owners - we will all have to wait and see I suppose.
Well dear Deb - it appears that we are using blogs instead of the EC forum to all vent our feelings!

I was a regular in dropping 300 cards per day until the end of the past month. I found there was a lot of people I dropped on who hadn't dropped on me one time. I deleted all from my list who didn't drop on me at least 15 times per month. I've been adding a few back to replace the ones I deleted. My blog will remain a blog without paid ads.
300 drops a day? Whow. I am far from this. But reading your post, i see that I did everything wrong. First step: No more paid ads.
Second step: Do at least 20 to 30 drops a day (at night).
At the begining stage, I drop 300 every days. But sooner or later, I become lazy, so now average 50-100 per day and not everyday. I found out very tired on dropping 300 per day but i was proud of you that you can do it everyday. I remember even I did dropped 300 per day but I do not manage to get back 300 or more. That's really awesome that you got it.
I drop around 100 on my two blogs every day. I start with my favorites usually, then it varies: sometimes I'll drop on my ads waiting to run, if I have time, will check my inbox and return drops on me that aren't in my favorites, then choose a category that's related to my post for that day or and drop on some of those blogs (sometimes starting with most popular but sometimes at random). This gives me some variety and is a good way to find more good blogs and perhaps get some new followers.
I have a list that I start with -- it has about 300 blogs in it, but usually I only manage between 100-200 of those. I check my inbox and do any there that aren't on my list. I'll confess that I get nowhere near the number of drop backs that I give as several blogs on my list are apparently "dead" I've been pruning a bit, but realize that I need to seriously prune a LOT more.

As for EC, I drop on all three of mine, 300 on one, 100 on the other, and 75 on the last one. It's getting out of control though - starting to drive me crazy!
I use my inbox for the current day and the day before. Have been doing it for so long, most are my favorites in there anyways!

I drop about 100 a day, more or less depending on how much time I have and how much I'm into it. I do Adgitize at the same time, so usually dropping on 100 EC blogs also gives me my Adgitize clicks for the day. I used to drop 300 a day, and my popularity rating soared, but that got way too time-consuming for me.
I have a regular droplist of my favorite blogs, mostly crafters' blogs, which are also the blogs I always advertise on. After I drop on them, I move to my inbox and start dropping on the blogs that look interesting. I also do a little widget surfing, if possible.
Can I ask how long that takes you? I'm just curious because I'm trying to map out how much time I'm going to be spending where.
Currently, I probably drop on about 20, which is nowhere near 300-500. And I leave a comment on any blog that sparks my interest.

I drop EC only 2 or 3 days per week. and I rarely comment on other's blogs as I did now ;)
I was dropping 300, but then for a week I slacked off and now I dropped in my catagory, but it's getting back up there. I pretty much drop from my inbox. And the trick I learned recently is dropping from the day befores inbox.
Since I got the computer virus from indiscriminate web surfing, I am more cautious. I always try to return the favor of dropping on those in my inbox, then I run down my blogroll and visit my faves and drop there, and if I am feeling brave, I go on a journey of clickthroughs by widget from blog to blog. I have never been able to surpass 75 drops in one day. I don't know how you do 300!
I mainly go through my inbox and drop on who has dropped on me and usually only a few times I've made it to 300 but most days I'm in between 150-200. Then if something catches my eye on the blogs I'll start surfing through those until it doesn't interest me anymore as well as try to comment on some blogs.
Hi, I have just started doing my research on this paid ad business and have decided to stop accepting them too. Where would I find the html code for the 'no to paid ec ads' picture? Also, I hope this will not stop other ec users advertising on my blog right?
Regards my dropping habits, I sometimes don't get a chance to do drops so I say I do mine 3-4 times a week and tend to go through my inbox and drop on people there. I also once a week or so, go through the campaign route and find blogs by keyword and drop on a few and also comment on the posts i like.
I am just developing a system. I tried to drop 300/day on both my EC blogs(I have 4 others Blog not connected to EC),I found it was way too much work for the traffic I was getting. So I stop that! Now I drop on my favorites, those who comment, and some new ones that I like. And Then I drop from my EC drop list, Entrecard Credits, and Along for the ride. I look in my inbox to see who dropped by, drop by theirs if it's not a Sales sites. I found that a lot of people just drop and run. guess I understand that, if you are dropping 300/day each site.
I am trying to build a list a favorite that are enjoyable reads to me.

I tend to go through my favorites first from the firefox toolbar. Of course, from my favorite blogs I then find new blogs which I sometimes add to my favorites. I've had a few days where I've done 300 but not many as I tend to go for quality not quantity though that depends on if I'm busy doing other things too or out of town.
I drop about 50 per day. . . I use the inbox and then will click on cards that look interesting. Mostly, I try to visit the blogs I like to read. Sometimes I read and forget to drop. . . I don't know how many comments I leave in a day. . . probably no more than five or so.

my dropping habits- i try to drop between 100-300 a day. i use the firefox plugin so i start with the drops inbox, then my favorites and then i go to you list of non-paid ec sites.
I generally drop on those that drop on me. Then I move to those that advertise most, and I sort of surf from widget to widget. Some days I drop 300, and some days I drop 10. I can and do go a week or more at a time without dropping at all.
I drop as and when I can, and I think I've done well if I manage to get to 30 in a day! lol

Wow, I am impressed you know what you are doing and actually have a system ... I try to drop on all in the drop box and the people who have placed adds - then from there I think of some people I enjoy visiting (you are one of them) and then I get bored and sometimes go randomly from the campaign list - I do not actually have a system ...
I make an effort to drop on everyone who drops on me. Sometimes there are trips or work, but the attempt is made. I totally appreciate droppers, but love the comments. That's what blogging is all about---dialogue. It makes for great fun and often education.
