Today Was Hubbard Glacier

Well the cruise is winding down :( but today we visited Hubbard Glacier and we were able to get almost a half mile from the Glacier as the day was gorgeous with perfectly blue skies without clouds, and little wind (it was still really cold however). I guess this is very unusual for this time of the season to get this close. As I look out the windows at 4:30 (Alaska time), I see we still have beautiful blue skies with abundant sunshine. Aside from an overcast day with a short amount of rain time in Juneau, the weather has been pristine for May in Alaska.
Tomorrow we visit Sitka Alaska.
I have taken in excess of 3,000 photos already (now you know why I take my laptop). I love being able to take huge amounts of photos and then choose which to keep instead of taking a few that may or may not turn out.

I will get back to my dropping and commenting on Saturday as I know I have a great deal to "pay back".

Thank you everyone for being my friend and continuing to visit during the time when I'm unable to drop.

3000 - YIKES! Can't wait to see the ones of the glaciers. Sounds like it has been quite an experience. Look forward to your return!

I can't wait to see some of the photographs. Hubby has wanted to go to Alaska for ages and ages. One of these days we will go.

Just have fun and I've been dropping everyday except when I'm at the boat. We just rarely take the laptop to the boat. :)

That a lot of photos. I tend to agree with you, I had experience before where I only took a few shots and now that I looked back, I could only wish I took more.

Thanks to the Digital World, 3,000 is better on a sim card than in Old film. Hey, I do not think we could of done that on film, lol. Love the new Cameras and portable laps era. looking forward to your show. Stay Warm!

Ausetkmt, we are on Celebrity Infinity (although I wish we'd done Holland America this cruise). Today we were in Sitka and it's such a lovely little community, definitely somewhere I could go for a few days on land and oh yeah, we had another day of gorgeous weather!!!
Victoria on Thursday but we don't get there until 11am and then leave at 8pm, unfortunately no overnight and hardly enough time to see the city.
What were you going to suggest?
